Tim Bratton appointed Ihuk Board – Ice Hockey UK

Tim Bratton has been appointed Board of Ice Hockey UK as an independent non-executive director (legal).

Bratton is currently General Council of the Football Association, the administrative body of English football. His assignment at the FA includes legal, regulation, investigations, corporate governance and security.

He has a considerable previous experience in the media sector, which is served as a general counselor for the Financial Times and another national news organization, and also works in a wide range of organizational environments, including PLC and Private Equity.

Ihuk CEO, Henry Staelenens, said: “I would like to welcome Tim to the board of Ice Hockey UK and we are very happy to have him with us.

“His experience will be so essential for us and he will help us deliver our ambitions for the sport in the future.”

Outside of work, Tim likes to watch a wide range of live sports, including football (Brighton & Hove Albion) and Cricket (Middlesex and England).

Bratton said: “I feel really lucky that I will become a member of the Ice Hockey UK board while we work on reaching our ambitions until 2030 in line with the strategy.

“I look forward to working with Clifton, Henry and the team while we strive for a single uniform administrative body for ice hockey in the United Kingdom.

“I expect that my experience of sport and media, as well as my operating background, will be useful for the organization in the coming years. I can’t wait to get started.”
