Finding value on the tight final position can be one of the biggest challenges – and biggest rewards – in fantasy football. After the elite names of the board lie, many managers wave to fill the place with streaming options or touchdown-dependent flyers. But every year a few players come under the radar from the middle-to-late rounds and become legitimate weekly starters.

Unlike other positions, tight end brox -outs are not just about raw athletics or depth card movement. Real sleepers in this position usually touch the trifecta of:

  • Chance-a clear path to playing time as a full-time starter
  • Talent – Athletics or university production that refers to the top of fantasy
  • Attacking role – perhaps the most crucial, tight ends have to cut out the target volume, ideally as the first or second reception option in their team

If a tight end can check all three courses, they have the potential to from the side issue to the top 10 status. Here are three tight end vesicles and busts that could do exactly that in 2025.

Sleepers

Tucker Kraft – Green Bay Packers

Tucker Kraft’s advanced statistics

Tucker Kraft closed 2024 as one of the quietest risers of the competition in the position and finished as TE14 in points per game while operating in a low, spread attack. Although his rough target did not jump (20th under TES), his efficiency did. Kraft ranked top-12 in Yards per match, top 10 in yards per routrun and first in YAC per reception.

Even better? He saw the second highest target speed between all the tight ends. That tells us Green Bay wishes To involve him. If his role continues to grow and the Packer’s goals consolidate, Kraft has a serious breakout appeal, especially with its current ADP outside the top 12.

Chigoziem Okonkwo – Tennessee Titans

Chig Okonkwo Advanced States & Metrics -Profile

Chigoziem Okonkwo finished 2024 on a high note (Te9 in PPR from weeks 12-17), and finally blinked the advantage that many people hoped the year before. Now, in an attack led by Rookie QB Cameron Ward and Dunne Pass-Catching depth behind Calvin Ridley, OkonWo was able to withdraw as a safety blanket and primary target in the middle.

Head coach Brian Callahan has publicly praised his progress and trust, and without clear WR2 on the Roster, Okonkwo has a direct path to fantasy televance. He is certainly inconsistent, but that is baked in his soil variety ADP. If you are looking for a little way, Okonkwo is one of the best bets.

Elia Arroyo – Seattle Seahawks

The advanced statistics of Elia Arroyo

A real deep sleeper, Elia Arroyo comes in the NFL with intriguing advantage thanks to its athletics and a wide open card in Seattle. With Noah Fant gone, Arroyo has the chance to appear as a starter early in the season.

While Jaxon Smith-Njigba seems ready to rise as the WR1 of the Seahawks, there is a realistic opportunity that ends Arroyo when the second most focused option of the team as Cooper Kupp-Nu Vecht-Vijdgaags. QB Sam Darnold also has a history of leaning at tight ends under pressure, which could give Arroyo just enough volume to matter.

He is raw, but in the late rounds of dynasty formats Arroyo is a name to go to town.

Busts

Although sleepers offer the promise of the top at low costs, identifying busts is just as critical, if not anymore. Paying top dollar for a tight end of a name brand that can derail your schedule construction underdelivers and force you in weekly despair. These players have more risk than their ADP suggests in 2025, and fantasy managers would be wise to think twice before they invest.

Travis Kelce – Chiefs of Kansas City

Tight sleepers and busts

Travis Kelce Advanced States & Metrics -Profile

The decline of Travis Kelce was subtle – but unmistakable – in 2024. He placed career lows when receiving yards, yards per reception and touchdowns. His fantasy points per game were the lowest in almost a decade. The cliff could be here at the age of 36.

The Chiefs have weapons in Rashee Rice (based on limited suspension), Xavier Worthyy and Hollywood Brown. Noah Gray also played well enough to earn a long -term contract. Although Kelce remains a red zone threat, it is no longer a lock for more than 1,000 meters, and his current TE6-TE7 draft price does not reflect the disadvantage. You pay for production in the past, not for future returns.

Jonnu Smith – Pittsburgh Steelers

Jonnu Smith advanced statistics and statistics profile

Jonnu Smith’s Miami Breakout (88/884/8) was impressive, but a trade in Pittsburgh Dimt his imagination -overview dramatically. He is now entering an Arthur Smith system that is crashing and already has Pat Freiermuth, who had 78 goals last season.

Smith, on the other hand, ordered 111 goals in 2024, but it is unlikely that that volume will pass. The Steelers have never given priority to tight ends in their attack under Smith, and a committee approach feels inevitable. Unless Smith’s ADP falls outside the top 15, he is not worth the risk.

Sam Laporta – Detroit Lions

Tight sleepers and busts

Sam Laporta Advanced States & Metrics

After a sensational smoke year and a fleeting year two, Sam Laporta 2025 arrives as a polarizing figure. The concern? Volume. With Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jahmyr Gibbs and a rising Jameson Williams all demanding goals, Laporta can have trouble maintaining last year’s output.

De Leeuwen also have a new offensive coordinator in John Morton, whose game to still be unknown to the tendency of the game. Add if laportas continue to continue nagging ankle problems, look at a risky profile with a high, high. His ceiling cannot be denied, but the floor is much lower than his Te4 -price card would suggest.

Last thoughts: upside down, avoid decline

The tight end position is often a fantasy -weets – but also a gold mine for those who prepare wisely. Investing in the top such as Kraft, Okonwo or Arroyo can bear fruit in a large way, especially if you get through expensive earlier options.

At the same time it can know when you know when you should fade names such as Kelce, Laporta or Jonnu Smith, help you pay too much for players with decreasing opportunities or changing roles.

In 2025, tight end of success will again come down to recognizing value before the rest of your competition does – and bypass the landmines that look good on paper, but can crater your season.
