After the shock about Hotel Breakfast Gate, I am ready to publish the blog post of three scandal favorites in Stockholm that I wanted to publish just before the news came. For those of you who have not been kept up, Scandic Hotels have announced that breakfast will no longer be included in the room price – In the future you as a hotel guest will have to pay extra if you want to eat a hotel breakfast.

It is a good thing that needs to be lifted against the criticism of breakfast that must be lifted with the scand critices that children up to 12 years old live for free. That said, here comes a top three list of my personal favorites at Scandic Hotels in Stockholm for anyone who is willing to pay a little extra for the hotel breakfast.
Three Favoritetell in Stockholm at Scandic Hotels

#1. Downtown camper by scandic
Downtown camper is undoubtedly the Scandic Hotel that I have lived on most times over the years. Every time I step into the doors to the center of camper, the shoulders sink a little big. Despite the location a stone’s throw from Sergel’s square, they have been able to create a small cozy character in the middle of the concrete jungle. It feels warm, hospitable and far from luxury consumption and appearance fixation. #2. Haymarket by Scandic
Haymarket by Scandic is another successful launch between the Scandic Hotel. Now that the first shark is located (the hotel was open in 2016), this place is now a kind of neoclassics in Hotel Sky van Stockholm. Twenty theme goes like a common thread through everything, from decor to the music played. When I meet friends in Stockholm, I think it’s easy to meet and drink a coffee or lunch in the small restaurant “Gretas” of the hotel. I especially like the tables at the bottom where we guests are a bit under ground level and can look over Hötorget.

#3. Scandic continental
Scandic Continental is very centrally located on Vasagatan 22, literally a stone’s throw from the train station. The rooms themselves are not very exciting, the reason that Scandic Continental is eligible for my personal favorite list is the capital of the roof bar on the eighth floor instead. Here are a beautiful view of Södermalm, Kungsholmen and Stadshuset. Here is a roof terrace with wooden deck with sun from the morning to evening. There is also a sky bar indoors, which means that you can go here all year round – even if you don’t live in the hotel.
Keep in mind that Scandic Continental also has a sunburn on the eleventh floor. However, it is only available for hotel guests – which is a good reason to book a room in this hotel – at least in the summer.
