Three Blue Jays are in MLB Pipeline’s latest top 100 rankings

It’s that time of year again.

His talents were on full display during the playoffs. Yesavage was called up to make three starts to finish the regular season and had a 3.21 ERA and 2.35 FIP in 14 innings pitched. Yesavage’s playoff debut saw him strikeout 11 over five and a third hitless innings, then pitched another gem in the World Series, going seven innings with 12 strikeouts while giving up just one earned run in Game 5. In six postseason appearances, Yesavage had a 3.58 ERA and 3.61 FIP in 27.2 innings pitched.

The 22-year-old has strong grades on both his fastball and splitter, with the former rated at 60 (plus) and the latter at 70 (plus plus). Yesavage also has a slider, which is considered above average with a rating of 55. All that is with medium command.

It’s also worth noting that if Yesavage wins the American League Rookie of the Year, the Blue Jays will earn a Prospect Promotion Incentive pick after the first round, as Yesavage is now ranked in the top 100 of Baseball America And MLB Pipeline. If he is nominated for a Cy Young or MVP in the next three seasons, that would be another way for the Jays to earn the PPI pick.
Ranking like baseball 45th best prospect is shortstop JoJo Parker, who was selected eighth overall by the Blue Jays in 2025. The 19-year-old has yet to make his debut but has a Class 60 impact tool and a Class 55 power tool, an intriguing profile. Parker, a left-handed hitter, has an above-average arm and could move to third base in the future.
Finally, the Jays’ 2023 first-round pick, Arjun Nimmala, ranks as the 77th best prospect in baseball. MLB Pipeline gives him a grade of 60 for both his strength and arm, while possessing average fielding skills and speed, as well as an edge hitting tool. The shortstop got off to a great start in High-A as a 19-year-old, but struggled starting in June, finishing the season slashing .224/.313/.381 with 13 home runs in 543 at-bats.

There could be a handful of other Blue Jay prospects in the top 100 by the end of the season. You can make an argument that Gage Stanifer, Johnny King, and Juan Sanchez should all be somewhere near the bottom of this list, and they very well could be when the midseason rankings are released.

All that said, the Blue Jays farm system is in a strong place, especially considering the situation it was in just a year ago.
