‘Thought long and hard’: Rachael Finch’s huge step – realestate.com.au

Wellness entrepreneur Rachael Finch and her husband Michael Miziner have made the move to the Gold Coast to be closer to Finch’s mother, Colleen Zablocki.

The prolific Instagram couple have bought a building block in Helensvale, an inland suburb of the northern Gold Coast.

There, a $1.75 million purchase gave them an 860-square-metre riverfront block within the Serenity Shore-gated community, on the water leading to Saltwater Creek, about a 30-minute boat ride from Broadwater.

They have sold their old Waterloo penthouse apartment, which fetched $3.1 million last year.

Finch and Miziner had paid $1.65 million for the two-storey, three-bedroom off-plan apartment in the Divercity complex in 2014, a year before its completion.

It became their home when they left their former residence in Brighton Le Sands.

They recently rented a $2,450-a-week Matraville duplex.

Originally from Townsville in Far North Queensland, Finch moved to Sydney in 2009 after competing in the Miss Universe competition.

She met Miziner when they were partners on Channel 7’s Dancing With The Stars in 2010. They married in 2013.

She started her Kissed Earth supplement business in 2019 and late last year the couple opened their first cafe on Bondi’s Campbell Parade.

Finch told her 323,000 Instagram followers about the move to Queensland, describing it as a “new chapter”.

“We will be moving to the Gold Coast at the beginning of 2026 to be closer to my beautiful mother,” she said.

“It has been a long and difficult decision, but she needs us now. However, I predict she will spend a lot of time in and out of airports.”
