Thomas Tuchel stands for a selection filemma in midfield and says that he will not experiment with his line -up against Andorra this weekend.
The Three Lions will organize the Minnows on Saturday afternoon in Wembley in their fourth competition of the World Cup qualification campaign 2026, kicking off before 17:00.
Tuchel has already confirmed that Harry Kane will start the game, because he will not let his most important players rest for next Tuesday’s trip to Serbia.
“There is no balance, the competition is on and it is the World Cup season,” the German said in his press conference before the game on Friday.
“We have a condensed camp and that means that we start with the team that we trust and the best possible team and we will manage the second game. We will not reverse it.
“We will not get entangled in experiments and everything that counts is today and tomorrow and then we will do our assessment after the competition to see who is available.
“The players start playing two games a week after the international camp and I see no problem why they can’t start and play it a week earlier on a Saturday and a Tuesday.”

Tuchel still has to find the ideal combination to anchor his midfield, because there is no natural no. 6 in the team. Crystal Palace -midfielder Adam Wharton had to withdraw with an adductor injury, while John Stones, who has previously played in the role, returned to Manchester City after arrival in the camp with “small muscle problems”.
“At the moment the four players are competing in central midfield, Jordan [Henderson]Declan [Rice]Elliot [Anderson] and Ruben [Loftus-Cheek]”He said.
“They are all very mobile players and there is not one deep number six, maybe John Stones, but he left this morning.
