1991: Atlanta -outfielder Otis Nixon is suspended for 60 days for violating the drug policy of baseball. Nixon, who was arrested in 1987 for accusation of cocaine ownership, currently leads the National League with 72 stolen bases. He will miss the NL -Play -offs because of the suspension.
