1958-The New York Yankees bring the series to 3-3 in balance against the Milwaukee Braves while Hank Bauer hits his fourth Homerun and New York helps a 4-3 victory in 10 innings.

2018 – The Braves will be eliminated by the Dodgers in Game 4 of the NLDS while Los Angeles gathered for a 6-2 victory.

2020 – De Braves throw their fourth shutout in five games and complete a ‘sweep’ of the Marlins in the NLDS. Kyle Wright took the victory over Sixto Sanchez. Since then, Sánchez has not thrown into a major League match because of an injury.

2021-The Bewers take a 1-0 lead on the Braves in the Division Series while Rowdy Tellez Homert on Charlie Morotn in the seventh inning of a 2-1 defeat. JOC Pederson hits a pinch hit Homer for the Braves in the eighth, but Josh Hader closes it in the ninth.

1915-The Philadelphia Phillies win their very first World Series competition by beating the Boston Red Sox 3-1. Babe Ruth hits a grounder like Pinch-Hitter in the ninth and will sit out the remainder of the series. The Phillies do not win a new game in the series and only won a game in the Fall Classic in Game 1 of 1980.

1919 – Joe Jackson and Happy Felsch enter two runs to support Ed Cicotte while the White Sox Cincinnati beat 4-1 in game 7 of the World Series. The Reds still lead 4-3 in the best-of-nine series.

1956 – Don Larsen throws the only perfect match in the history of the World Series in a 2-0 win over the Brooklyn Dodgers.

1973-Rusty Staub Homert twice while the Mets beat the Reds 9-2 and take a 2-1 lead in the NLCS. The competition includes a scuffle between Pete Rose and Bud Harrelson after Rose slides hard on second base.

1986 – Mike Scott equaled a ‘postseason’ record with 14 strikeouts when the Houston Astros defeated the New York Mets in Game 1 of the NLCS. The only point of the game came on a homerun in the second inning of Glenn Davis on Dwight Throw.

2014 – Dan O’Dowd resigns as general director of the Colorado Rockies and will be replaced by Jeff Bridich.
