1998 -With a defeat against the Braves, the Marlins lose their 100th game to become the first team that went from World Series champions to a 100 -game loser. The “fish” have the worst record in the competition, 48-100.
1991 – Atlantas knows Mercker, Mark Wohlers and Alejandro Pena to combine a 1 – 0 no -hitter against San Diego. It is only the second no-hitter in the history of Atlanta, after the masterpiece of Phil Niekro from 1973 about the same Padres.
