A very nice sight for Newcastle United fans on Wednesday morning.

However, that was followed by an excellent visit to Lotto Park for Newcastle United.
Against the reigning Belgian league title winners Union Saint-Gilloise, an impressive performance from Eddie Howe’s players, who fully deserved the 4-0 away win.
Then it was more of the same, with the match ending Newcastle 3 Benfica 0, but in reality it could and should have been an even wider winning score.
Now tonight, another win in the Champions League and a third clean sheet in a row in the league, Burn and Joelinton got the goals as United defeated Athletic Bilbao 2-0.
Remember, the top eight will automatically progress to the last 16 knockout stages.
While those finishing 9th to 24th will enter two-legged play-offs to decide the remaining eight that will form the last 16.
