Third round of the FA Cup confirmed on television

The FA Cup third round is one of the most anticipated weekends in English football, with top teams taking part in the competition.

The draw for the third round took place earlier this week and there are some nail-biting draws, eight of which will be televised in a great action-packed weekend.

It will come as no surprise that Manchester United’s clash with Brighton on January 11 will be among those selected, as will Wrexham’s match with Nottingham Forest on Friday, January 9. Holders Crystal Palace will also be televised in the third round when the Eagles travel to non-league Macclesfield.

TNT Sports has secured the rights to the FA Cup this season, alongside traditional BBC coverage of the competition.

Charlton Athletic vs Chelsea, 8pm (TNT Sports)

Sunday January 11:

Derby County vs Leeds United, 12pm (TNT Sports)

Portsmouth vs Arsenal, 2pm (TNT Sports)

Manchester United vs Brightom, 4.30pm (TNT Sports)

Liverpool vs Barnsley, 7.45pm (TNT Sports)
