Thinking of better weather

I felt wistful as I finally started processing some photos from the end of last season.

As of this writing, we are in the middle of a deep freeze in this part of Michigan, with the “Real Feel” at -7F. I have a hard time remembering the last time we had such bone-chilling cold.

My favorite time to play golf in Michigan is the fall, an all-too-short season that portends the arrival of the Polar Express. Most fall days in Michigan are beautiful and perfect for golfing. In the two years since I retired as a college teacher, I have tried to maximize my fall golf time by playing every day, either at Washtenaw Golf Club or adding a new course to the “collection” of courses played.
