Everything started from a mobile phone stolen from a boy who immediately ran to the police to report the fact. Thanks to the geolocalizer on the smartphone, the agents have succeeded in following the traces of the thief. But behind that simple theft there was much more: a reception system of electronic tools between computers and mobile phones. The officers of the central commissioner arrested two Moroccan men aged 45 and 36 for receiving stolen goods. 22 telephones and two notebooks stolen for a total value of approximately 22 thousand euros.
The complaint
A 19 -year -old boy appeared in the police offices in Piazza San Sepolcro. They had just stolen his cell phone while they lie to take the sun in the Sempione Park. However, the phone had active geolocation, so the police officers followed the route of the thief she took to a playroom in Viale Marche. Thanks to the support of the room staff, the agents identified the criminals, with a third subject that managed to escape through the video surveillance system.
The police officers saw a first exchange between the man who then fled and the 45nna to which he supplied the phone in exchange for money. Subsequently, the 36 -year -old -old approached a second mobile phone to the 45 -year -old -old in exchange for 60 euros: it was exactly the one who had just been stolen from the park. The police officers intervened: the 45 -year -old, in addition to the two newly withdrawn devices, had a backpack with 19 mobile phones and two laptops all wrapped in foil (probably to prevent an interception). He was investigated for receiving stolen goods, the 36 -year -old was arrested and investigated because an order of removal from the national territory hung to him.
