Barn finds and garage finds are always a sensation. They often reveal hidden gems that have been tucked away for decades – almost lost for time. Over the years we have seen dozens of these discoveries, ranging from classic American icons to old-school trucks.

This newest garage found an unexpected mix of powerful icons. The Canadian dealer Silver Arrow cars recently kept the deposition of a forgotten collection of an 88-year-old owner. The collection contains unspoilt examples of a Ferrari 550 Maranello, an E39 BMW M5 and a Ford GT from 2006.

Silver Arrow cars shared photos of the vehicles – themselves and so – Instagram page. When Auto reportThe trio had been tucked away for years in a garage in Newport Beach, California, and only recently saw the daylight. Every car had collected dust for decades.

The Ferrari 550 Maranello was untouched for 25 years. It features a stunning Nart -blue exterior combined with a brown leather interior and only has 564 original miles on the kilometer counter. Under the hood is a 5.5-liter natural sucked V12 engine that produces 478 hp.

The BMW E39 M5 of 2002 is also impressively preserved, with only 4,249 original miles. It is finished in carbon black with a black leather interior and wood covering. Driven by a 4.9-liter V-8, the M5 originally produced 394 hp.

Last but certainly not least is the 2006 Ford GT, which is essentially brand new. It only has 720 miles and, according to Silver Arrow cars, was “never entitled, never registered.” It has the iconic red paint with double white stripes and a black leather interior. His supercharged 5.4-liter V-8 made 550 hp when he was new.

The big question: what could this trio be worth?

As commentators on the original Instagram post note, the E39 M5 – with such a low mileage – could easily get six digits. “That M5 is going to establish a record,” said a person. Unfortunately we may never know the exact amount – it was sold shortly thereafter for an unknown price.

The Ferrari 550 Maranello might recommend even more. Previous examples about bringing a trailer have been sold for everywhere between $ 150,000 and $ 250,000, depending on the mileage, trim and state. Silver Arrow has not confirmed whether the 550 is still available. In a separate post the dealer said: “Price? Who knows. Difficult to decide where it stops.”

But the Ford GT is probably the crown jewel. Pristine examples have been sold for everywhere from $ 700,000 to $ 1.0 million at an auction. With such a low mileage, this GT could easily become a member of the seven-digit club-for the right buyer.

We will have to wait.
