Every year there is a large year for large golf club companies, with constant new releases and technologies to help golfers play their best.
With the golf season that ends, and another round of Club is probably launching around the corner, which brands have had the greatest years in the appropriate bays?
In this week of Golf’s episode fully equipped, Bryan Laroche, owner of Fleming Island, FL’s Bryangolf, answered that question for the different categories of equipment.
He started with ping drivers.
“Many Ping -Bos, many ping drivers, all drivers,” said Laroche. ‘Like many [G440] Sft. They do the 9-degree in SFT is one of the most underrated movements in the adapted club adjustment history in my mind. “
With Ping’s G440 line released at the beginning of the year, the company has added a 9-degree loft option for the draw-biased SFT model, which stands for straight flight technology. In earlier rules, the SFT head was only available with 10.5˚ of the loft.
Ping G440 SFT adapted driver
The G440 Driver Family (Max, LST, SFT) has been optimized to deliver more ball rate through multiple claims, including Ping’s deepest CG in a driver so far and a shallower, thinner face, while it continues to ensure the game-changing forgiveness of a ping driver. Golfers needed for slab correction technology fit best in the G440 SFT option (straight flight), with a two-position (Draw and Draw+), adjustable 23-gram back weight. Very forgiving lighter main weight ensures a heavier rear weight. Faster face shallow, thinner, face increases the bullet speed for more distance, higher launch. Sound design new shapes, carbon crown and internal ribs produce muted impact experience. The design of free state saves weight to lower CG, to increase forgiveness. Ensures more HAK-SIDE FACTION for consistent bullet speed over the face.

Laroche said this helped to solve a huge problem for the target SFT player.
“I couldn’t fit too many boys in the 10.5, because most of those guys who need an SFT not only struggle with a big fade, they also struggle with spider,” Laroche said. “We can get a lot of boys in the SFT.”
When it comes to irons, Laroche said that Titleist “came in from the upper rope here at the end of the summer” with their new line-up from 2025 T-series.
“You can fit almost everyone in the title irons,” he said. “You can find some iron, especially if someone needs a little height. And I know we are talking to fit, and we hear with every video of title, it is 3DS, 3DS. The 3DS are real.”
