The 2025 Wor Jackie Trophy has been awarded to… Sean Neave.
A Sport Newcastle dinner at Newcastle Civic Hall on Thursday evening, recognizing Newcastle United’s exciting talent.
The Wor Jackie Trophy honors the late, great former Magpies striker Jackie Milburn and each year it presents a rising NUFC star.
Previous winners include Andy Carroll, Peter Ramage, Freddie Woodman and Adam Armstrong, as well as…Nile Ranger.
However, this is Sean Neave’s year, with the 18-year-old striker set to have a great future at Newcastle United.

My thoughts
It is not always the case that young talents persevere and reach the top.
However, Sean Neave seems to have what it takes.
He already has a Carabao Cup winners medal, having been an unused substitute at the age of 17 when United lifted the Carabao Cup in March.
As a lifelong Newcastle United fan, what inspiration does he need to help Eddie Howe and the team repeat this kind of success in the future.
