Few players have been better than Kurt Kitayama this season. After his victory over the 3M Open Sunday, the 32-year-old Pro is won in 12th place: Van de Tee, although it was another part of his game that helped him to a monster weekend in TPC Twin Cities.
Kitayama shot a career-best 11 under 60 on Saturday, which played the course record that Adam Svensson played on Thursday. He followed that with a six-year 65 on Sunday to beat Sam Stevens with one and to claim the second victory of his career.
Kitayam’s 20 weekend birds were the most by a PGA Tour winner in more than two decades, and many of them were founded by a remarkable approach game. Kitayama led the field in SG: De Green approaches both Saturday and Sunday and had eight strokes on the field in the last two rounds. Both days he hit 16 of 18 Greens.
Titleist Vokey SM10 RAW Custom Wig
For every recording, every lie, every course there is a routine suitable for your swing. Finding the right routine that matches your swing and playing conditions gives you the best interaction, contact and recording performance. Master Craftsman Bob Vokey has spent decades crafting, developing and improving his Tour proven to fit players of all levels. Everyone can produce a wedge, but a master is needed to convert a lot of high -quality technology into an instrument of creative control. BOB’s six Tour-Conserved Grinding are designed to offer maximum creativity, versatility and consistency, all carefully developed by years of working with the best players in the world. Progressive Center of Gravity SM9 has a progressive center of gravity (CG) in the lofts, which optimizes the ball flight, accuracy and forgiveness. With the help of tapered rails and varied hosellent lengths, the Vokey R&D team has increased the height of the CG in the higher lofts, which promotes a lower, more controlled flight. The CG is also ahead of the face, resulting in an elevated MOI, an exceptional feeling and a club face that simply wants an impact. Spin Grooves SM9’s Patented spider Groeven are carefully designed by a new cutting process to maximize spider and durability. The process starts by perfectly cutting the face with a quick saw. Then each Groove is cut individually based on the attic and finish; Low lofts (46 ° -54 °) are designed with narrower, deeper grooves, while higher lofts (56 ° -62 °) have wider, shallower grooves. Micro-grooves are cut individually between grooves, which maximize the spider on partial recordings. A patented heat treatment is applied in the impact area that doubles the durability of the groove without influencing the feeling, making it the most durable groove in golf. The process is only complete when every Vokey -WIG 100% is inspected for the largest quality and performance.

“I just think I had control over my ironing irons, especially with that start today; my wedges put me in those positions,” Kitayama said afterwards. “I hit them firmly. I trusted it a bit in the beginning and took advantage of the shorter holes with the wedges. You know, you don’t expect to come out like that after photographing 11 below, and coming out as it was special.”
Kitayama has titleistic wedges in his bag-titleist Vokey Design SM10 (52-12F, 56-14F) and Vokey Design Wedorks (60-K*)-and they helped him jump from 110th to 53rd in the FedEx Cup classification. He is now from the FedEx Cup -Play -offs of next week and has the chance to make the Tour Championship for the first time in his career.
