Gambhir helped India to do well in cricket with limited governments, but he has not yet succeeded in tests. In his first, India won against Bangladesh, but struggled against New Zealand and Australia and lost 3-0 to New Zealand at home.

India is willing to face England in one of five games, with the first game planned to start on June 20 (Friday) in Headingley, Leeds. This will be an important challenge for Gautam Gambhir, who has struggled in the longest format since he took on the role of head coach for Team India. The only victory in the three series he has managed came across Bangladesh. This was followed by a loss of 1-3 against Australia in the Border-Gavaskar trophy and a humiliating loss of home for New Zealand. Former India player Dineh Karthik has pointed out an important area where Gambhir has to improve as the series approaches.

In a discussion with Sky Sports, Dineshik stated that Gautam Gambhir is a skilled tactical coach. However, he did concern that Gambhir’s aggressive personality hinders his ability to manage others.

“Tactically speaking, Gauti (Gautam Gambhir) is a very good coach. Man management is the area that I am sure would look. But one thing is to him that he is looking forward to his players that is huge. What I occasionally feel is the way he is not aggressive as a captain.

During the challenging period of India, the entire team and management were involved in controversies, which points to possible departments between players and the coaching staff. While a new dawn uses the start of a new chapter in the Indian cricket, Gambhir would like to grasp the chance.

Gambhir and his team will start their journey in the new WTC cycle with a demanding series of five tests against England, from 20 June in Headingley. The difficulty of the challenge will be reinforced by the absence of important Batsmen Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, who recently announced their retirement of international cricket.

Shubman Gill has been identified as the successor to Rohit and is appointed as the test captain. RISHABH Pant will serve as his vice-captain, and the team has been rejuvenated with young talent to fill the holes left behind.
