It has recently been announced that a biopic about Kobe Bryant is currently in the making. Bryant is undoubtedly one of the best NBA players ever whose influence the youth still influences today. It is not entirely clear what the film is about, but if they want to make the best possible film about Bryant, the Utah Jazz must certainly be involved.
Because this news was released today, details are probably still being surveyed about what the biopic could be about. For the time being it sounds like it will turn around Bryant while he was about to start his NBA career.
A biopic from Kobe Bryant is in the making in Warner Bros, per @TERM

But it is not to say what can change between now and when the film starts to film, because film ideas constantly change when they go into production. If the film really wants to fully capture the NBA career of Bryant, they have to emphasize his time that plays against jazz, because the failure of the Lakers to beat them in the 90s was Bryant’s first NBA -Mislukking.
When the Lakers brought in Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal in 1996, there was a lot of hype who started with Shaq for the first time, but it was not long before Kobe demonstrated that he was a generation -super star in the making like an MJ clone. It was also not long before the Lakers restored themselves as title candidates.
However, what is not mentioned much about the legacy of Bryant is his share in the straight of the Lakers who embarrass themselves against jazz, both years that the two teams in the play-offs were in the play-offs in 1997 and 1998. The Lakers were swept in 1997 and went through a men’s wheep the following year the following year. Bryant had a hand in their overwhelming play -off run.
Although the notorious four -Aarball match was only one match, Bryant’s figures in both series were without a doubt terribly terrible. In 1997 he had an average of 8.8 points, 1.8 assists and two turnover a match during the shooting of 31.6% and 21.1% of three in the Western Conference Semifinals Matchup against the Lakers.
It was not much better in 1998, where the Lakers had their rematch against jazz in the Western Conference Finals. In five games he had an average of 10 points, one assist and 1.8 sales while he shoots 50% out of the field and zero of three.
Many will claim that Bryant was young, so of course he started to struggle, and yes, That’s the point. Every all-timer had obstacles to overcome. In the case of Bryant it was the jazz. Admittedly, those Lakers teams never defeated those jazz teams with Karl Malone and John Stockton, but that pushed Bryant to become the player he did.
Don’t worry kobe fans, he has them back
Bryant never beat the 90s, but he certainly left his mark on the jazz teams led by Deron Williams. Bryant and the Lakers defeated some of the most underrated jazz squadrons in the franchise history and defeated them in back-to-back-back Until years from 2008 to 2010.
There is no doubt that the Lakers played a hand in the end of the Williams era in Utah. Bryant’s figures were much better in the late 2000s than the late nineties
2008: 33.2 points, 7.2 assists, seven rebounds, 49.1% shoot from the field.
2009: 27.4 points, 5.6 assists, five rebounds, 46.6% shoot from the field, 35.3% shoot from three.
2010: 32 points, 5.8 assists, 3.8 rebounds, 52.3% shoot from the field.
It emphasizes his progress during his career. There is no doubt about the “mamba mentality”, but he had growth pains like most all-timers, and he conquered them in due course. The jazz was actually the team that forced him to evolve.
And if that is not enough, Kobe and the Lakers beat the jazz in his NBA final in what was really a vintage version for the centuries. That kind of history cannot be overlooked, especially for a biopic that wants to conquer the full scope of Kobe Bryant.
