The truth about Mizuno Wave Momentum Elite (pros and cons) | Volleycountry

The Wave Momentum Elite is Mizuno’s sequel to the Golf Momentum 3 But is it still one of the best volleyball shoes today? After they have tested them themselves and buried them in what players say, here is the breakdown 👇

What’s great

  • Super comfortable directly from the box (no painful burglary).

  • Stable on landings + rapid direction changes.

  • Excellent grip, even on dusty courts.

  • First -class damping that really protects your joints for a long season.

⚠️ What’s not so great

  • Not as resilient/explosive as models such as the Asics Sky Elite FF3.

  • Can feel cozy if you have very broad feet.

  • Some players do not like the updated tongue/top design.

💬 My recording
I tested them in several practices and the damping + stability immediately noticed. For me, the best part is how well they deal with landings – protecting knees, ankles and back. That makes a huge difference during a full season.
I also really like the new white/orange colorway – clean and sharp.

👊 Best for
In addition to hitters, contradictions, middle blockers – everyone who jumps a lot and lands a lot. If you want a safe, stable and comfortable shoe that supports heavy training and competitions, the Wave Momentum Elite is a top choice. Make sure you try them first if you have wide feet.
