The technology of an F1 on a bicycle: here the cars were designed by BMC with the support of Red Bull

Aerodynamic efficiency was the polar star that cooperated between BMC E Red Bull Advanced Technologies (The design division of the F1 Oracle Red Bull Racing Team), in the development of Speed ​​machine 01 one Team machine RTwo “cars” designed with a single goal: define a new benchmark in the segments of the Chrono/Triathlon and Aero Bikes. An important step for the success of the project was L’Ironman World Championship Held by St George in May 2022 in the United States. Speed ​​machine 01 defines the concept of bicycle from Chrono/TriathlonThanks to a long development process extensively about computational liquid dynamics and wind tunnel tests. For these innovations it is appropriate to mention the attention of the engineers of BMC and Red Bull Advanced Technologies in the distribution of weights, in the lower part of the frame a water tank, an internal tube for hydration, a back storage and an LED light to improve the safety of the athlete on the road.

The prices cannot be said that speed machine 01 is within the reach of all budgets. The range is divided into three models:

• Speed ​​machine 00 ltd carbon black/ white is sold at a price of 23,000 euros. The SRAM Red AXS group is added to the high -tech frame, the high -profile ZIPP 858 NSW Tubeless Disc and the Aero Motion BMC system.
• Speed ​​machine 01 LTD Carbon Black/Neon Red is available at a price of 16,999 euros. This version is characterized by the SRAM Red AXS group and locks Zipp 858 NSW Tubeless Disc.

In the design of Team Machine R, BMC and Red Bull Advanced Technologies followed a similar process like that for Speed ​​Machine 01. With this choice, the Swiss house could introduce important technological innovations, such as:

• The Halo Fork (395 grams), marked by long footers, considered by BMC that is essential to reduce the turbulence created by the front wheel.
• Mariana Bottom Bracket Technology. It offers an area of ​​the extensive central movement and aerodynamic design. A solution that, according to BMC, reduces the distance between the frame and the rear wheel, attaching the air flow to the circle.
• The Integrated Cockpit System (ICS) system improves the aerodynamics of the bicycle and at the same time makes simple stack adjustment possible thanks to the design of interlocking spacers. This makes stacking calibration possible without dismantling the steering attack or cockpit.

Tem machine R is available in four versions;
