Igor Tudor may play glorious football, but it is continually undermined by both his explosive nature and his seemingly endless ability to upset his employers, who routinely sack him at short notice.
It’s been said here for years that ENIC is a desperately bad recruiter, and now we’re seeing perhaps one of their most inept hires yet.
Sure, he can be a sensation; No one has next week’s Lotto numbers, but answer me this: If you were about to lose your house, would you hire this guy to get you out of trouble? I suspect not.
ENIC has themselves to blame for all of this, and as Ange Postecoglou pointed out, they have a wage cap that prevents real talent from being brought in.
Worse still, a large portion of the fan base seems to be gobbling up the porridge being served.
As far as I’m concerned, I welcome relegation. Get sold and go away, and leave everyone otherwise get on. I don’t care about being told exactly what I desire, we are heading towards a division from which we will be ill-equipped to extricate ourselves.
