Raja Jackson admitted to hospital in shocking struggling event attack

The incident took place at a Knokx Pro Wrestling event that was broadcast live on the Kick streaming platform. Jackson entered the ring during a competition, lifted Smith – who occurs under the ring name Syko Stu – on his head and hit him on the mat. Jackson then assembled the seemingly unconscious wrestler and delivered more than 20 consecutive bumps on his head before other wrestlers intervened.

The attack stemmed from an earlier Confront at the location where Smith is said to have beaten Raja Jackson with a look at the entrance, causing him to confuse a colleague artist. Video images show that Raja responds firmly and warns Smith not to respect him again and to tell his stream audience that he would “get back”. About 30 minutes later during the planned game of Smith, Raja carried out the attack.

Wrestling journalist Sean Ross Sapp reported that although a form of physical interaction was planned as part of the show, the level of power and the resulting injuries to Smith were not scripted. Smith, an American veteran who has spoken about the use of professional struggle as a therapy for PTSD, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after the attack.

Former UFC champion Rampage Jackson issued a public statement with regard to the incident and confirmed that Smith was awake and stable. The older Jackson described the situation as “a work that went wrong” – struggle terminology for a planned segment that escalated in real violence. He revealed that Raja had suffered a concussion by sparing just a few days before the event and should not have participated in physical activity.

“I can’t approve my son’s actions at all,” said Rampage Jackson. “He suffered a concussion by sparing just a few days ago and had no things to do something at a distance in the vicinity of physical contact. As a father I am deeply concerned with his health and well -being of Mr. Smith”.

Struggling historian Dave Meltzer, founder of the newsletter of the wrestling observer, called the incident “the worst thing I’ve ever seen in a ring”.

Raja Jackson was then banned after the incident of the kickstreaming platform. Reports indicate that the police are investigating the attack, with many observers who suggest that the stated nature of the attack could lead to criminal prosecution.

Smith’s condition was reported as stable, with Rampage Jackson confirming that he was awake and conscious after the first hospitalization. However, the long -term effects of the head trauma that he has contracted remain under medical evaluation.
