Warwoven destroyed the clock on Saturday and the times indicate he should be among the best two-year-olds in the country
Randwick saw some very progressive gallopers in the races on Saturday and thought the track played well, with race pace and talent being the key to winning rather than any bias.
Below you will find an overview of some horses worth following and what they produced on the clock during the weekend.

Race 1 – War Woven 1st
This looked like a hot two-year-old race on paper and the performance of the Bjorn Baker-trained colt confirmed that. The race was run at an average speed early on, but this guy zoomed home and ran his final 600 meters in 33.02 seconds, which was some 7 lengths above the class average. His 400-200m time gap of 10.66 seconds was the fastest of the day and showed instant acceleration. Overall, the time wasn’t outrageous, but those late splits were off the charts good for a debut.
He relaxed well early and came into his own late to win like a true seasoned professional, which are encouraging signs for a debut performance. He looks like a real two-year-old and should be a leading performer in the Magic Millions Classic and Golden Slipper if he can stand up to racing.
The 3rd Horse Hardanger also produced a big gap of 400-200 meters and kept coming to the line. I would also like to follow her on her second start.

Race 4- Big Daddy 3rd (Blue sleeves, yellow suspenders)
This race was run at a solid pace, with the leader covering the first 600 meters approximately +2.6 lengths above class average and setting a strong pace. The winner of the prosecutor flourished there and has driven a good figure from the perspective of the speed assessment. I think her best run in the race was Big Papa, who came from an 1100m run to 1300m and had to chase from a long way away, but was strong at the end of the 22i.e best Last 200 meters of the day in 11.84 seconds. This was despite the fact that from the 400 meters to about the 250 meters he was held up and had to hit heels, so he was unlucky as a result.
That should only improve his fitness and it looks like he’ll step up during that run.
This is one smart foal!

Race 7 – King’s Secret 1st (Black, Lime Green), Cool Jakey 5e (Light blue, navy blue silk)
King’s Secret looked extremely good here with only 52.5kg on his back and was well supported. He won well visually, but there is also a lot of merit on the clock, with him having a good burst in the middle stages or in section land a mid-race squeeze (800-400m), covering that section some 2.4 lengths above average and his final 400 meters still being a rock solid in 22.80 seconds. The overall time was impressive for the day and indicates he can continue winning as he progresses through the numbers and gains more race fitness.
The other runner worth highlighting here is Cool Jakey. He was the first to arrive, but came home late. He ran his final 400 meters in 22.54 seconds, which was 7th.e fastest of the meeting and indicated that he had returned to this preparation in good order.
King’s Secret makes it 5 wins out of 10, he’s a beauty!
A fruitful summer could lie ahead for him š@ZacLloydx @PrideRacing @ProvenTbreds pic.twitter.com/53DEk3p3x2
