The Nike Zoom GT Cut 4 goes to ‘Think Pink’

Considering the overall size of their empire, Nike, Inc. home to a litany of returning partners, of course. However, it is difficult to argue that there are more meaningful relationships than their charitable ones. Aside from certain Doernbecher dalliances, the most significant in basketball comes via the Kay Yow ‘Think Pink’ series, which initially launched in 2008 and has since grown to include some of the Swoosh’s most highly regarded modern hardwood inventions, from the Sabrina 1 to the Kobe 6.

Like the Nike Zoom era GT cut 4 closer, it’s a fitting newcomer to that group, with overseas images showing an all-pink overhaul. Although only the side is visible in the shots mentioned, the inspiration is clear: the Kay Yow logo appears on a special hang tag, and the pink arrangement ties in with the signature tone of the breast cancer awareness movement. While this new inclusion will come with a Product Identification Number (or SKU), please note that the Foundation’s colorways are typically exclusive to players and are distributed to Beaverton signatories or signatory schools to increase awareness rather than using public releases to generate revenue.

Nevertheless, as one of Nike’s more intriguing upcoming silhouettes, there’s plenty to admire from afar with the Nike Zoom GT Cut 4 ‘Think Pink’. Check out the handheld images below and check out our Sneaker Release Dates page for more information on the model’s release as a whole.
