JBL Grip Speaker Specs

At Mashable we have tested various speakers from the JBL-Line-Up, from the $ 879.95 Partybox 520 to $ 49.95 Go 4. JBL speakers produce well-completed sound, are sustainable, have a decent battery life and offer options for enlarging your experience. With the JBL -Grip you get:

  • 43 x 80 mm full range of transducer

  • 12 hours of battery life, plus two hours with playing time boost

  • Six color roads: black, white, purple, red, blue and camo

  • JBL Companion App Compatibility

  • Environment light on the rear panel that you can adjust with the JBL app

  • IP68 Water and dust-safe rating

  • Multi-speaking speakers connection with Auracast

  • Rope hook for taking the road

The most direct comparisons that come to mind for the JBL -Grip are the JBL Flip 7 speaker and the Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 4. The Wonderboom 4 is Mashable’s current favorite Bluetooth -speaker under $ 100, which is for the same price as the JBL grip. The assessment is slightly less, on IP67 (which means that it is not resistant to immersion in water and grip), and it comes without a corresponding app. It is shorter and wider, where the grip is long, has 14 hours of battery life and is often for sale for $ 79 or less.

The Flip 7, on the other hand, is a step up from the grip, and the price reflects that for $ 149.95. You get a total of 16 hours of playing time, a 45 by 60 mm woofer and 16 mm tweeter, interchangeable carrier accessories and loss-free audio playing, as well as the same IP68 rating, JBL Pro Sound with AI Sound Boost, Auracast Multi-speaker connections, and guidance as the grip speaker.
