The Phoenix Suns enter the 2025-2026 seasons with low expectations and with more question marks about their selection than answers. For some reason, Devin Booker is again the most important Point Guard of this team, while re -making the center rotation – although a necessary undertaking – still leaves clear gaps defensively.
Now that there is little exchange capital and a selection that now has young players who need the time to develop, it is no wonder Zach Lowe On his most recent podcast Call Had them on their way to this season to his most confusing teams. Suns must get a heavily burnt fan base working again.
What is much more important than profits and losses in the coming twelve months is the fans showing that the front office has compiled a group that gives it again. In the past two seasons, that has been painfully missing, and the choice of the head coach to lead those selections was also a mistake in retrospect.
Both Frank Vogel and Mike Budenholzer are hardly known for their passionate press conferences and fiery personalities. Combine that with the relaxed attitude of Kevin Durant – plus whatever they hoped that Bradley could be Beal – and the fans quickly became alienated by the lack of care and win that we all saw.

Something was watching those who laughed at the couch several times while they were blown out, which rubbed people in the wrong way. Each team has a bad night, but this was on the way to winning just 36 games and a start of 8-1. There are no expectations and everything flows through booker again, and that is what the coming season is all about. More are invested in the young people who will be there in the long term, and see players like Brooks defending opponents every night. The media can continue talking about the direction and profits and losing this group, but that doesn’t matter at the moment.
