A highly regarded MMA coach does not believe that Jon Jones deliberately avoided fighting Tom Aspinall.
Jones withdrew from the sport instead of confronted with Aspinall in a title Unification Bout. Dana White said reporters that ‘bones’ initially corresponded to the fight, but decided to hang his gloves instead. Shortly after his retirement, Jones claimed that he was back in the drug test pool and called for a place on a potential UFC White House card. White has closed that idea.
While fans on social media are convinced that Jon Jones Aspinall was popping up, the American Kickboxing Academy head coach Javier Mendez told Mmajunkie.com That he does not believe this is the case.
“Many things are made between the negotiations, and you never know what real is and what is not real,” said Mendez. “I know one thing in my heart in all those years that I have trained hunters: hunters are not afraid of someone. So when people say,” Oh, he doesn’t want to fight. ” Ok, why are you then?
Aspinall, the newly beaten UFC Heavyweight Champion, will put its gold at stake against Ciryl Gane in the main event of UFC 321 on 25 October in Abu Dhabi. Alexander Volkov vs. Jilton Almeida will also be shown on the map in a fight that a no. 1 contender for the winner of Aspinall vs. Gane could determine. Time will tell you how to shake things with the heavyweight division as soon as UFC 321 concludes.
