The Honda Prelude already has an aftermarket kit of a legendary tuner. And it looks great

The new Prelude has barely been out for a few hours, but the legendary Honda Tuner Mugen already has a body kit for the Hybrid Coupé in the making. Mugen is working on a carbon fiber split, side skirts, diffuser and spoiler, as well as a new sports exhaust, all of whom are planned for release in 2026.

That new kit is offered in addition to the different parts that Mugen already offers for the Prelude. They include carbon fiber door mirror covers, a very hip set of 19-inch forged BBS wheels and a high-performance oil filter element. There is also a set of “performance dampers”, developed in combination with Yamaha, which are installed on the front and back to reduce the bending of the chassis.

Moreover, there are many Mugen accessories, such as oililler and radiator caps, floor mats, sill boards, wheel nuts, a dust jacket for the REM fluid-reservoir-where you need this, I know non-and stickers. Nothing that the way your education will float, but it still looks cool.

Mugen Motorsports is a coordination company founded by Hiritoshi Honda, the son of the founder of Honda Soichiro. Honda throws the Prelude as a kind of sporty, affordable Grand Tourer. It is essentially a coupé version of the Civic Hybrid and shares the 200 hp, two-engines powertrain of that car. It introduces a new drive mode, S+ Shift, which uses the electric motors to simulate the power output of an engine with internal combustion that is accompanied by a traditional transmission. It also runs the engine itself to add to the sensation. So that sports exhaust can come in handy.
