The hockey showCanada’s only campus-produced radio show strictly about hockey returns tonight with our normal format now that the Olympics are over, the Paralympics start in a week, the NHL is back and all the craziness that comes with those changes can be discussed. I’m not sure I’ve ever been less excited about hockey than I was last night when NHL players were back on the ice after what we saw in Milan-Cortina, but it’s going to be hard for the NHL to duplicate the hockey we saw in Italy. That said, we have a lot to discuss and talk about tonight The hockey show at 5:30pm CT!
At some point we have to address the elephant in the room, so it might as well be tonight when Teebz and Jason discuss the image to the left where the US men’s hockey team showed up to be honored by politicians. This could become a heated discussion as our hosts discuss the possibilities of appearing at the White House while playing for a Canadian team, the lack of respect shown to the US Women’s National Team, and the extra honor given to Connor Hellebuyck before watching the return of the NHL on TV and how bad those broadcasts look, the Olympic injuries we’ve seen and why some owners might think twice about sending players, the Canada West men’s and women’s semi-finals, and a big weekend of sledge hockey is planned. must be emphasized!
