The hockey showCanada’s only campus-produced radio show strictly about hockey is back on the biggest day of the Christian calendar as we have a Christmas show! There are two major tournaments starting tomorrow, so there will have to be some discussion about those tournaments and some of the details baked into them. There’s also a very good chance that a North American hockey league will suspend play tomorrow due to CBA negotiations falling through, so our hosts have a lot to talk about this Christmas Day. Tonight, Teebz and Jason kick things off by talking about how stupid it is to focus on Team Canada’s goal at the World Junior Championship. Then they focus on the finances of the World Junior Championship in terms of where the money goes, the Spengler Cup rosters and players you might recognize from the other teams, and talk about the potential ECHL strike that will almost certainly start tomorrow on Boxing Day.
