Nissan has a new heritage edition available for the 2026 Z sports car – and it looks sharp. Unfortunately, this newest makeover is only a visual upgrade, but it grabs back to the past of the Z with a touch of GT-R influence in the midnight purple paint.
Nissan adds bronze 19-inch rays wheels, a carbon fiber rear spoiler with retro-style “Twin Turbo” bathing and other bronze accents with the package and takes signals from the 300ZX. It also has a bronze “twin turbo” body-side image that drips with retro-infused styling.
Inside, the special Z gets unique kick plates and special floor mats.
Nissan offers the Heritage edition only on the mid-grade performance trim, which is supplied with a mechanical differential with limited slip, performance mentions, a Bose audio system, heated mirrors and aluminum pedals.

The entry-level finish has an 8.0-inch infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a leather-covered steering wheel and 18-inch wheels wrapped in Yokohama Advan Sport High-Performance tires for 2026.
Both decorations are supplied with Nissan’s Twin-Turbo Charged 3.0-liter V-6 engine. It makes 400 hp and 350 pound-foot torque and you can combine it with a manual six-speed gearbox or automatic nine gears.
If that is not enough, the Nissan Z Nismo from 2026 will return for 2026 and produces 420 hp and 384 LB-FT torque. It is only available with an automatic transmission, but Nissan Americas chairman Christian Meunier recently revealed that the company has ‘a manual Nismo transmission’. He did not go when it would arrive, but we don’t expect waiting long.

The Z Nismo also has a faster-changing gearbox, revised bodywork, wider wheels and nismo-tailored suspension and brakes.
Inside, the coupe has for recaro seats, a leather and Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel and red-enodied start-stop buttons. The Boulder Gray paint is also new before 2026 combined with a black roof. It is only available on the sports and performance decorations. Nissan says that the 2026 Z will reach dealers by the end of this month.
The automaker has not announced any prices for the 2026 Z, but it should be fast. The 2025 Z sport starts at $ 44,165 (all prices include the $ 1,195 destination costs). The performance finish starts at $ 54,165, while the Z Nismo costs $ 12,000 more, starting at $ 66,945.
