The good, bad and mostly ugly from the loss of the Packers for the jets

Stormen rolled through Green Bay and Knock -out thousands in the area on Saturday afternoon.

The football team of the birth city took the field a few hours later and was just as powerless.

Green Bay had a terrible version in his pre-season opener, struggled in all three phases and dropped a 30-10 decision on the New York Jets. The number 1 attack of the Packers managed to manage only two first downs in two series, the number 1 defense allowed a TouchDown drive of 79 meters and Return Man Mecole Hardman damped a point.

The result was a terrible version before an announced crowd of 71,501.

Here is the good, bad and ugly thing about the loss of the packers.

Good

Daniel Whelan: You know it is a brutal night when your MVP is your punter. However, that was the case for Green Bay, because Punter Daniel Whelan had a big game.
Whelan was incredibly busy and bumped six times. He on average 52.0 meters per point with a long of 63 and his net was 46.5.

“I think he has done a lot of work in the low season,” said Packer’s Special Teams coordinator Rich Bisaccia about Whelan. “He got the ball out of his hand.

“He has worked very hard on his footwork, with his directional points and some situational football. It goes for him in the year 3, so he has to be better at that. We are enthusiastic about the direction he is going.”

Impressive run: Rookie Free Agent ran back Amar Johnson ran a few heads with a TouchDown run of 39 meters fourth quarter.

Johnson received a large block of Rookie second round Pick Anthony Belton and then broke a tackle in the hole of Safety Dean Clark. Johnson, who has 4.39 speed in the 40-Yard Dash, then cut left and beats safety Jarius Monroe to the end zone.

This and that: Rookie Wideout Matthew Golden defeated Cornerback Brandon Stephens on a win of 7 meters in the third and 7. … Kristian Welch has dumped Braelon Allen for a loss of 1 meter on a 4one-En-1. … Colby Wooden has a pass from Jets’ Nr. 3 Quarterback Adrian Martinez deflected. … Tight ends Ben Sims and John Fitzpatrick both had 17-year receptions.

Bad

Trinity: The opening ride of the packers on attack could not have gotten much worse.

First Rookie Defensive Lineman Barryn Sorrell was marked because he had withheld the opening kick. Love then went 0-out-2 with a drop through Wideout Romeo Doubs.

And when Love was incomplete for Doubs in third place, the packers went after just three plays.

Don’t defend: The No. 1 defense of Green Bay was striking about the opening of the jets.

New York marched 79 Yards in 10 plays and closed the ride with a 13-Yard hasty touchdown by Quarterback Justin Fields. Fields escaped on the TD -Run and then hit Cornerback Keisean Nixon in the open field on the way to the end zone.

Fields hit 3-out-4 for 42 yards, while the jets had six rushes for 37 yards. Former University of Wisconsin and Fond du Lac Standen Braelon Allen tore a 14-year point on the ride.

Contaminated love: Green Bay Quarterback Jordan Love had a tough night. Love only went 1-of-5 for seven meters and had a score of 39.6 passer-by.

However, don’t make it too much, because the packers played without pro bowl die Josh Jacobs and Wideouts Jayden, Dontayvion Wicks and Savion Williams ran back.

Yet love and the rest of the “no. 1” attack would have made much more.

Willis is struggling: Packers’ Nr. 2 Quarterback Malik Willis had a tough night.

Willis, who went 2-0 last year as a starter, only hit 4-out-9 for 39 yards and had a 57.2 passer-rating.

Screen door wide open: Jets’ Nr. 3 Quarterback Adrian Martinez threw a 24-year Touchdown pass to Tight End Stone Smartt on a perfectly executed screen pass.

Smartt blocked defensive end of Barryn Sorrell and then released. Downfield, Isaiah Simmons, Isaiah Dunn and Johnathan Baldwin all got stuck on blocks and Smartt was disgusted in the end zone.

This and that: Guard Jacob Monk was called up for three holding penalties. One has wiped out a big run by running back Amar Johnson. … Wideout Malik Heath, fighting for a selection, had an expensive drop. … Wideout Julian Hicks dropped a high pass by Malik Willis on a route. … guard Donovan Jennings had a penalty on a third and 1 who killed a drive. … Safety Kitan Oladapo allowed a reception of 26 meters to Wideout Quentin Skinner.

From the infirmary: The Following Packers Didn’t Play Due to Injury – Wide Receivers Jayden Reed, Dontayvion Wicks, Savion Williams and Christian Watson, Cornerbacks Nate Hobbs and Kamal had, Safety Xavier McKinney, Running Backd, Running Backd, Linuel, Lunuel, Emanuel, Emanuel, Emanuel, Emanuel, Emanuel, Emanuel, Emanuel, Emanuel, Emanuel, Emanuel, Emanuel, Emanuel, Llllueld, Lllueldd, Lllueldd, Llluelddybel. Defensive End Collin Oliver, Offensive Linemen Rasheed Walker and John Williams, Wr Savion Williams.

Ugly

Tough night: The packers signed veteran Wideout Mecole Hardman in free agency in March, but gave him only $ 150,000 in guaranteed money.

That might have been too much.

Hardman had a brutal night, where his biggest mistake was a point on his own 9-year line that Ja’markis Weston recovered in New York. That game led to the field goal of a jets.

Hardman also made the curious decision to place a point on his own 5-year line and was then blown up without a win. And Hardman dropped a good greetiness of Malik Willis on a route.

First quarter of blues: The jets dominated the first quarter – one in which the packers played their number 1 attack for both series.

New York had nine first downs to only two for Green Bay. The jets surpassed the packers, 139-21, and on average 7.7 yards each versus only 1.9 for Green Bay.

Tough sleds: Green Bay had a third and 7 on his own 8 halfway through the second quarter. Jets Tackle Leonard Taylor overwhelmed Center Sean Rhyan and discovered the ball away from Quarterback Malik Willis.

Jay Tufele from New York recovered in the end zone to give the jets a 14-3 lead.

Total dominance: De Jets Overten de Packers, 403-188. New York also had 21 first downs to only 12 for Green Bay and had 256 passing yards up to only 64 for the packers.
