The Toronto Blue Jays went to Seattle down 2-0 in the ALCS, scoring just four points in two games. But after dropping the first two games of the series at home, the Blue Jays returned the favor to the Mariners with offensive explosions in Games 3 and 4, scoring 21 points to tie the ALCS at 2-2.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. arrived in the series and hit three doubles and two home runs during the two games at T-Mobile Park. But they also got a surprising amount of production from their light-hearted shortstop Andres Gimenez. The former All-Star went 3-for-5 in Game 3 with a home run and two RBIs before hitting another home run and driving in four total in Game 4’s 8-2 victory.
The Blue Jays’ next challenge is a rematch with Bryce Miller, who pitched six two-hit, one-run innings in Seattle’s 3-1 Game 1 win.
That brings us to today’s quiz. Gimenez’s four-RBI effort in Game 4 marked the 47th time a player had four in a single ALCS game. That said, how many players with a four-RBI game in the ALCS can you name in six minutes?
Success!
