The financial inclusion program of Indian Bank helps with more than 350 people in the Tiruvallur district again in the district

Indian Bank organized the ‘Financial Inclusion Saturation Program’ on Saturday in the Tiruvallur district as part of the national campaign of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) for taking all regulations and facilitating Rekyc at the level of Gram Panchayat.

This was organized under the national saturation campaign for financial consciousness, implemented from 1 July to 30 September 2025.

The camp was mainly focused on Rekyc in the PMJDY accounts and the registration of customers under flagship inclusion schemes such as PMJBY and PMBY. The camp saw participation of more than 2,000 members of the local community, including farmers, self -help groups, owners of small companies, students and seniors, Indian Bank said in a statement. Rekyc of nearly 350 people was done at the camp location itself via BC devices and tab Banking, it added.

Vice -Governor of the Reserve Bank of India Swaminathan Janakiraman, district collector of Tiruvallur M Prathap, and Binod Kumar, MD & CEO, Indian Bank belonged to those present in the camp.

Janakiraman said: “Financial inclusion is not only about offering access to banking, but also to enable individuals to improve their lives through financial literacy and contribute to the economic growth of the country.” Helping the general public to have the Rekyc done, without being needed to visit the bank branch, is useful for admission, he added.
