Haaland’s goal in Manchester City’s stunning 5-4 win over Fulham saw the forward reach a century in English football’s top division.
Not only has the Norwegian joined the pantheon of Premier League greats to achieve this feat, but he has also done it in fewer games than any other player.
Haaland’s 100th goal came in only his 110th appearance, a frightening number of goals per game. No record has proven safe since the Norwegian’s arrival at Eastlands, and many more are expected to tumble before he’s done.

The fastest players to 100 goals in the Premier League
5. Thierry Henry – 160 games
Thierry Henry arrived at Arsenal after a difficult time at Juventus, with the Frenchman being a talented but inconsistent wide player. Arsène Wenger, who had previously worked with Henry at AS Monaco, saw something and unlocked his potential.
After a slow start, Henry finished his debut season with 17 league goals and hasn’t stopped scoring since. He won a record four Premier League Golden Boots, became Arsenal’s all-time top scorer (228 goals) and inspired two title triumphs, the latter unbeaten.
4. Sergio Aguero – 147 games
It’s often said that signings from foreign shores take time to establish themselves. But not Sergio Aguero.
A dazzling debut off the bench for Manchester City against Swansea marked the start of an incredible decade for Aguero at the Etihad.
The Argentinian became City’s record scorer and was often at the forefront in the biggest games. Of all his 184 goals in the Premier League, none was more important than his last-gasp win on the final day against QPR to win the title in 2012. It remains the most iconic goal in the history of the competition.
3. Harry Kane – 141 games
Not everyone was convinced that Harry Kane would make it at Tottenham as he rose through the ranks. Some mixed results on loan only reinforced that view, until Kane seized his opportunity in 2014/2015. After getting his chance amid injuries, a 21-goal season lit the test on Kane’s career.
He reached 100 in the Premier League in just 141 games, leaving the division with 213 to his name. Kane, now from Bayern Munich, has won five top goalscoring awards in the Premier League and Bundesliga, and is both England and Tottenham’s record goalscorer.
2. Alan Shearer – 124 games
It took something special to eclipse Alan Shearer’s achievements. The Premier League’s all-time top scorer scored an unprecedented 260 in the competition, scoring his first 100 in just 124 games.
Shearer joined Blackburn Rovers ahead of the Premier League’s inaugural season and fired the big-spending Lancashire side to title success in 1995. He won three consecutive Golden Boots between 1995 and 1997, the last at Newcastle after a world-record move to his hometown team.
1. Erling Haaland – 109 games
Erling Haaland has scored a century of goals in the Premier League at an unimaginable pace. The Norwegian only needed 109 games and no record seems safe from Manchester City’s goal machine.
At just 25 years old, Haaland has smashed Norway’s goalscoring record and moved into ninth place among the Champions League’s all-time top scorers. He is rising rapidly in the Premier League at an unprecedented pace.
