The case for the Phoenix Suns that won more than 31 games this season

Although the NBA season is still far away from 2025-26, many opportunities have already predicted how many games the Phoenix Suns will win next season. To the surprise of nobody, the fact that they have lost Kevin Durant – and less important Bradley Beal – led to having taken a substance hit.

But again – if you only win 36 games with those two next to Devin Booker – you know that changes must be made. That is why the figure of 31 games (we also saw it as low as 29 and as high as 31.5), is about a selection that has brought star power for questionable depth and is suitable with the addition of Jalen Green. Dillon Brooks, however, becomes fun.

Suns can easily blow through their 31 -winning total prediction.

But although there are enough who think that the suns will suck – many of their own fans are even here if it means a nicer and relatible product on the field – three key factors work to their advantage to ensure that this may not be the case. The first is simple and does not need much explanation, a Booker Revenge Tour.

He only made all-nba twice in his career and was not even an all-star previous time-out. Expected at the age of 28 and get the keys to the franchise again, expects his attacking exploits to only want his team to a number of victories. If Booker can get fire and the shooters around him hit their shots, the Suns can enter a play-in race.

However, it is the defensive end where they overwhelm opponents and make a footprint center a terrible place to visit. Last season they allowed 117.7 points per match – the fourth worst figure in the entire competition – but it will not have to worry about this time. This schedule has a number of dogs, starting with Brooks but including Ryan Dunn and Oso ighodaro.

Center Kaman Maluach is as raw as they come and is only 18 years old, but only his frame and size will help to protect the edge. Back -Puntpunt Collin Gillespie will give up his body every night, while Mark Williams is a super addition if he can stay healthy. Even Nigel Hayes-Davis could bring in a few possession.

So although the Suns may have lost a superstar in Durant, there is reason to believe that they have become a more balanced outfit at both ends of the field. They will miss his score – he has saved them from so many bad possessions – but that 31 -game staff feels like an obstacle that they can pass if this all falls on the spot as it could be as if it could.
