The Christmas tree box NSW real estate
REMARK
A house with the ultimate Christmas flex attracts everyone’s attention on social media.
With December just around the corner, the time has come for homeowners to decorate their homes with lights, baubles, tinsel and of course decorate their Christmas trees.
Although the Christmas tree is a beautiful, exciting and welcome addition to the living room, there is always the fear of getting it there.
Dragging the Christmas tree out of the car, selling trees or from a box deep in the garage or storage room is the worst of all.
For me, this means walking up four flights of stairs from the basement garage to my apartment, which has a huge bathtub into which the Christmas tree was maliciously filled eleven months earlier.
It is dusty and looks a little worse for wear.
Daniel McCutchen, the American former professional baseball pitcher, showed off a huge flex in front of his Christmas tree in 2022 and, just like Mariah Carey’s All I Want for Christmas is You, the viral video is back again.
The video shows how McCutchen doesn’t have to go through the pain of putting up the Christmas tree every year, and if you ask me – that’s pretty genius.
The Christmas tree that slides easily into the cupboard. Genius.

McCutchen posted the video to his Instagram in 2022 – perfectly matching the caption ‘they see me rolling, they hate’ – with his huge flex, which means he doesn’t have to wrap his Christmas tree every year. He doesn’t even have to take down the decorations.
He simply opens a giant, tall cupboard door and slides the tree away again once the crazy season is over.
His fans on social media were incredibly impressed, some even jealous.
“I need this in my house!!!,” Becca Williams commented on the Instagram post.
“Jealous,” another commented.
“Work smarter, not harder! I love this!” another praised.
It is also not a small tree, so not a small box!

The tree sits on a platform with wheels for easy maneuverability and when on display, simply covers the bottom with white festive material to hide the doll.
It’s not a small tree either, as he compares the size of the tree to that of his small child.
Others were less impressed, but let’s be honest: they’re probably just jealous that they’re not rich enough to be able to afford the space or money it takes to build a giant Christmas tree box.
But does it take away some of the magic of Christmas? Decorating the tree, even though it is a tedious exercise, gives me a warm feeling every year. That’s once I cool down after dragging him up the four flights of stairs.
“Waste of space,” said one user.
“That must be so musty and dusty and put together like that! Cobwebs! Atchyuuuu,(sic),” Tanya Likes Lasagna commented.
Well, Tanya loves lasagna, in my experience it gets stale in a box, or stale in a cupboard anyway.
If I had the choice of rolling it 12 inches into a closet or lugging my dusty box up four flights of stairs, I know what I would choose.
