“Auction day is the most nerve-wracking day of the year for me,” says Scott Cam.
The Block Auction screens this Sunday at 7pm on Nine, a day after 5 houses go under the hammer in Daylesford.
This season you’ve seen everything from secret wine cellars to the biggest challenge prize Block history, a Block baby, and 12 weeks of intensive building.
But who will take home the $100,000 prize money?
Host Scott Cam said: “After twelve weeks of hard work, it’s incredible to see these Blockheads transform their visions into stunning homes. The scale of this season’s build has been enormous and these teams have really been tested.
“Auction Day is the most nerve-wracking day of the year for me. This is a life-changing weekend for our teams and they all gave their best to earn an incredible result.”
Executive producer Julian Cress said: “There is no doubt that our participants have built five incredible homes, in what we have discovered to be one of the best country towns and communities in Australia.
“We would be very hopeful that people who have watched this series will realize how great it would be to buy one of these homes and join the Daylesford community.
“We are trying to do something that has never been done before: auction five luxury homes in Daylesford on the same day. And while the homes all deserve to sell well and command high prices, we are not sure we can do that in one day. But we hope so.”
