Chelsea has succeeded in securing one of the largest loan costs ever, since Nicolas Jackson will join Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window.
The Bundesliga champions are said to pay a first fee of € 15 million (£ 13 million) to get the striker on loan for the season.
The deal includes an option to buy Jackson for a reported € 65 million (£ 56.2 million), which means that Chelsea could reach a total of up to € 80 million (£ 69 million).
Even if Bayern does not exercise the option to make the relocation permanent, the blues will at least make a substantial amount from the loan scheme, which has been made at three highest fee ever for a temporary transfer.
Only Giovani Lo Celso and Alvaro Morata have moved for larger loan costs in the past. Morata does indeed occupy both the number one and two places in the list. Incidentally, the € 18 million that Chelsea received for the Atletico Madrid attacker in 2019 is in second place behind the enormous reimbursement of € 20 million that Atleti received from Juventus the following year.
Various notorious loan agreements are also on the list, including the relocation of Odion Ighalo from China to Manchester United and the Loan from Carlos Tevez to the same club of West Ham.
