Second -year Chicago Bears Edge Defender Austin Booker, with two pockets already to his name, was hungry for more. Late in the third quarter, he effortlessly dumped 300 pounds on the left Tackle Kion Smith in the ground and set his sights on Miami Dolphin Rookie Quarterback Quinn Ewers.
While Ewers caught a glimpse of Booker’s shade from his blind side, he tried to shoot to the right. Booker didn’t have it. He chased Ewers and put out the ball – a technically healthy comic – for his third pocket of the day.
Booker bully the line of the Dolphins in extensive action and held the bears in the game before it ended in a final 24-24 draw in the previous season 1. The Chicago Bears kept Caleb Williams, while the Miami Dolphins chose to give Tua Tagovailoa One Drive.
Tagovailoa marched Miami through the field on a 15-play, short-pass-heavy disc, although the series stuck after four straight runs could not cross in the end zone.
Luther Burden III caught his first two steps in the NFL, one of which moved the chains on the third and 15 hours. Later in the game, the dolphins handed the attacking reins to Ewers and Ollie Gordon run back, who recorded his first touchdown.
