Patrick Habirora will put his undefeated record on the line in the main event at PFL Brussels in May this year, against his most skilled opponent yet.

Habirora remains one of the elite European talents not currently signed to the UFC and has quickly become a face of the PFL, especially in Europe. The ferocious Belgian is undefeated in eight professional bouts with seven knockouts and one decision victory. 2025 was a dream debut year in the PFL for the Belgian striking phenomenon. In July, he headlined the PFL Europe event in his home country against experienced UFC veteran Danny Roberts. The Englishman suffered a brutal first-round TKO defeat to the rising star in a bouncing ING Arena in Brussels.

Months later, he ventured into enemy territory to face another ex-UFC fighter at PFL Lyon. His opponent was Kevin Jousset who trained at the infamous City Kickboxing Gym and made his PFL debut in his home country of France. He suffered the same fate as Danny Roberts when Habirora ripped through him in the first round. Now, another former UFC fighter will be standing across the cage in May, but his credentials far outweigh anything Patrick Habirora has seen before.

Patrick Habirora vs. Benson Henderson

Former UFC Lightweight Champion Benson Henderson will make his MMA return in May at PFL Brussels against the promising Habirora. The 42-year-old ruled the UFC lightweight division from February 2012 to August 2013, securing title defenses before ultimately losing the title to Anthony Pettis at UFC 164.

Henderson left the UFC in 2015 after his contract expired and joined Bellator in early 2016. The move was not as fruitful as his UFC tenure, as his record in Bellator ended at 7-7, with his final defeat coming to Usman Nurmagomedov. Since then, Henderson has continued to compete in a mix of martial arts, from wrestling to karate, most recently at RAF O6 this weekend.

However, he will need all his skills and experience in Brussels in May this year if he is to upset “The Belgian Bomber”.

Do you think Benson Henderson can get the win against Patrick Habirora?
