The Asus Zenbook A14 is perfect for Back to School

Earlier this year, Mobile syrup Editor-in-chief Jon Lamont rated the Asus Zenbook A14, the small Snapdragon-driven laptop of the company. It looked cute, and when I asked him about it, he only said great things about the laptop, so I had to try it out myself. And after use, I started to realize that this could be the perfect laptop for students or commuters.

It’s so incredibly light

The Zenbook A14 is great when you have to go to school or go to work every day of the week. When I was younger, I dragged around a 17-inch laptop and wish I had this sub-1 kg laptop. Lamont says that the laptop is a competition for the ultra-bearable crown, and I couldn’t say it better.

Seriously, I love the portability of the laptop, with the dimensions of 31.07 x 21.39 x 1.34 cm and with a weight of 0.98 kg (2.16LBS), it makes sense. It fits in with someone’s backpack and you will not even notice that it is there. It is not the thinnest laptop ever, but the combination of its weight and dimensions makes it the perfect size for many.

Furthermore, it has the sustainable, resistant ‘ceruminum’ finish over the entire device, which looks great and feels, and because it is durable, if you are a bit rough with your backpack – my brother at the university has literally broken a laptop because it is so rough with his things – your laptop has a better chance to survive.

Endure the day

And although the A14 is super light, it also has an excellent life of the battery. You can go well in a day battery life with the laptop. When I was a student, I sometimes took my laptop on my way to school because I was always completing a last-minute assignment, and it would always suck when I saw that my laptop was about to die. The A14 can continue all day without towbar. I even forgot to take a charger with me when I left for a few days, and it was because of two services, and yet I could have pushed it a little further.

It is incredibly impressive that the laptop could survive for so long. Lamont also had a great experience with the battery life, so this is absolutely not a one -off.

If you are someone who travels every day to work or at school, I know you can appreciate a large battery.

Value

The Asus Zenbook A14 also has a reasonable price: $ 1,349 (currently for sale for $ 949). Although this is not the most affordable laptop on the market, with such a slim and light chassis and large battery, I would pay so much for it.

And although it is not the most powerful laptop – the A14 with the Snapdragon X -Processor, 16 GB RAM and 512 GB SSD – I have had some problems with the laptop that slows down. For example, when I was editing about 12 photos on Photoshop and had two web pages and several tabs open, the laptop had considerable delays. But this only happened when bulk photos are edited for a review. On a typical day I edit about two to three photos a day and I experience zero delay.

The laptop is missing a high-genar for, 120Hz renewal percentage, so maybe if you have to edit someone, you may not want the A14. However, if students in science, mathematics, English or even rights courses love the A14.
