Celebrities prove that you do not have to break the bank to create a striking fashion moment.
Multi-Hyphenate star Teyana Taylor shows her iconic fashion feeling in the latest episode of “Ball On A Budget”, a web series of Chime where celebrities challenge themselves to make stylish outfits with a limited budget. The latest episode, in collaboration with Complex, Contains the 34-year-old fashion icon that starts the campaign by discussing her personal style.
“I don’t think you should have money to have style, I think you are style who you are and what you are turning on,” the Stub the garden Star told Complex Ashley Nicole Moss.
Last month the star brought its fourth studio album, “escape room”, accompanied by visuals that present the characteristic style of Taylor, of which fans are going to love, such as a wedding dress with graceful flower details and a long pure veil.
Future episodes of “Ball on a budget” will contain a line-up of stars, including conversations with athletes sauce Gardner and Hailey from Lith, famous jeweler Greg Yuna and actor rapper Joey Bada $$, among other things. Every episode will challenge the stars to create a striking look for $ 300 or less.
The “Ball on a budget” campaign, aimed at Gen Z and Millennial Audiences, emphasizes personal style and promotes smart financial habits. The series uses daring visuals and fascinating conversations to explore both self -expression and financial literacy. The campaign was launched in 2023 and wants to demonstrate that personal style is feasible for everyone.
The original series was a collaboration with the NBA and Featured star players Such as Tim Hardaway Jr., Karl-Anthony Towns and Jalen Green.
“Our members and the wider brand audience are interested in basketball, and we wanted to emphasize the natural intersection of fashion within the basketball culture with a ball with a budget,” explains Karen. “With this activation we can lean in the reach and fame of fashionable athletes while we show that they can look great without breaking the bank and encourage our members to do the same,” said Karen Uyenco, the senior social media strategist of Chime.
