The Texas Rangers’ presence in the Arizona Fall League (AFL) was immediately affected by an early injury development. Top prospect Sebastian Walcott (INF, No. 4 prospect overall/Rangers No. 1) competed in the Surprise Saguaros’ first game on Oct. 6, but has since sat out due to arm fatigue.
In his only Fall League game on October 6, Walcott went 2-for-4 of 2 RBIs And 2 runs. One of his hits was a triple, and both hits registered an exit velocity over 100 km/h (170.1 km/h and 180.1 km/h).
