Ten messages that no one will read in 2025 | Asian Turfgrass Center

I shared the posts from 2025 that got the most views, and Joe Gulotti and I talked about this in a holiday extravaganza. Then there are these 10 who received the least.

For reference, the top 10 median was viewed 423 times in 2025. The median on this list was viewed just 84 times.

Part of the reason for the few views may be a lack of interest in the topic. But it could also be the time of year or the time of day I published this, or maybe it’s a bad title or a boring thumbnail image that didn’t attract much attention.

Posts in November didn’t get many views.

When you see this list, you might find one you missed the first time. Or maybe you now have more time to quickly read this one.

Here they are, counting down from number 10 to the post with the least views in 2025.

[10] The geometric mean as the central tendency (mean) for soil nutrient data, May. Regarding the variability in soil nutrient content and a calculation I use to be more conservative (safer) in dealing with potential low nutrient locations on a field.

[9] A brand new Turf Twitter analysis, November. A few things. My posts in November didn’t do so well. Was everyone busy then? Second, things about Twitter, and Twitter itself, are not as popular as they once were.

[8] A seven-year timeline of OM246, November. Complete discussion about organic material, top dressing and management of organic material over a period of seven years, what was done and what the results were.

[7] Bottom feeds and extra beer, November. This is about applying the right amount of fertilizer.

[6] Consultation hours on pesticide-free grass management, November. If you are at all interested in the topic of pesticide-free golf course turf management, or in minimizing the use of pesticides on golf courses, this talk is one you will want to watch (or listen to).

[5] “Very commonly used” but “not recommended,” October. A classic quote and some commentary about fertilizers from Piper and Oakley.

[4] Feeding recommendations with clippings removed or clippings returned, December. Something to consider.

[3] Greenkeeping in seven countries and four continents, May. This post discussed the first seven episodes of Lawn without borders. I find this topic – green management around the world – a fascinating one, and if you do too, then you’ll definitely want to tune in to this show.

[2] GvX and sand, December. The Turf GvX can be used for many things, but I would not use it for spreading quantities of sand.

[1] ATC videos and podcasts in multiple languages, April. The automatic dubbing in multiple languages is a pretty cool feature on YouTube. It’s not just my content, but also a lot of other material that you can learn more about thanks to this feature.
