[Teams] Arsenal vs Crystal Palace: Confirmed line-ups from Emirates Stadium

Arsenal can extend their lead at the top of the Premier League this afternoon with victory over Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners are two points clear of second-placed Sunderland, and with defending champions Liverpool losing to Brentford last night, Arsenal can consolidate their grip on the summit with a win today.

Mikel Arteta has made just two changes from the starting XI that defeated Atletico Madrid 4-0 in the Champions League on Tuesday evening. David Raya is among those to keep his place as the Spaniard once again holds the goal for Arsenal.

Jurrien Timber is again preferred to Ben White at right-back, while William Saliba strengthens the defense. Gabriel Magalhaes missed training on Friday after taking a knock against Atletico, but the Brazilian is considered fit to start today while Riccardo Calafiori replaces Myles Lewis-Skelly at left-back.

Martin Zubimendi anchors Arsenal’s midfield, while Declan Rice also keeps his place in the middle of the park. Eberechi Eze will take on his former side as he starts in attacking midfield in the continued absence of Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard.

Bukayo Saka will once again start on the right wing for the Gunners, with Viktor Gyokeres leading the way and he will be hoping to build on his goal-scoring streak from midweek.

There is a change on the left wing, with Leandro Trossard recalled to start, while Gabriel Martinelli drops out despite impressing against Atletico. Ethan Nwaneri, Mikel Merino and Christian Norgaard are options for Arsenal on the bench.

As for Palace, Adam Wharton will be looking to impress in midfield, while Jean-Philippe Mateta is the danger man up front.
