US earns four medals on ITTF World Para Future Spokane 2025
More than 150 para athletes from all over the world competed at the ITTF World Para Future Spokane 2025, which provide an exciting showcase of skill and determination. Team USA has left its mark and recorded a total of four medals.
Leading the American charge, Jenson van Emburgh claimed silver in sitting men’s class 3, narrowly false to world no. 3 Florian Merrien (FRA) in a moving 3-2 final. Jenson also added another stage finish with a bronze in Herinubbelklasse MD8 alongside Zachary Pickett, a relatively new player who already made a strong impression on the international stage.
Michael Godfrey has contributed to the American count with a bronze in sitting men’s opportunities class 1, while Logan Watson and Tahl Leibovitz bronze earned in Standing Men’s Doubles class 18. The high-level competition in the Para-Completion set the stage for even greater effort in the Para Elite, who started on 9 August.
Medals for Team USA at the ITTF World Para Elite Spokane 2025
For the home crowd, the Para -Elite brought even higher intensity. Again, Jenson van Emburgh led the medal -load of Team USA with strong versions, which confirmed his status as one of the world’s leading paragetical tennis players. In addition, an excellent performance by Ian Philip Seidenfeld ensured a bronze medal in class 6.

Butterfly shines at ITTF World Para & WTT Feeder Spokane 2025
This summer Spokane became the center of international table tennis campaign and organized the ITTF World Para Future & Para Elite events next to two WTT feed tournaments. The week was filled with intense rallies, world-class performances and a strong presence of butterfly, proud sponsor of the competition tables and presenter of the Women’s Singles Award ceremony.

WTT Feeder Spokane I – Highlights of events
The WTT feed pokane that I brought together a field of world-class competitors. In Singles for ladies, the Japanese Saki Shibata dominated the field, defeated India’s Sreeja Akula and double champion Asuka Sasao before conquering Kaho Akae in the final. This victory increased the shibata ranking and came closer to a top 50 -return for the first time since April 2022.

On the singles side of the men, Leo the Nodrest van France claimed his first WTT-Feder title and achieved a career-high ranking of no. 72. With impressive victories in Park Ganghyeon and Borar Haug, the Nodrest now sets up its sights in the Top 50.
In the double competitions, Irvin Bertrand and Jules Rolland of France won the title of the men’s doubles, while the Japanese Asuka Sasao and Anne Uesawa took the women’s doubles home. In mixed Doubles, the Japanese Satoshi Aida and Hitomi Sato made them first.
