The overall silhouette remains similar to the current model, but the front and rear receive extensive updates. Inspired by the Punch EV, the front now features sleeker LED DRLs and a sleek, blacked-out grille. The redesigned bumper is dominated by thick black cladding and a silver skid plate for a bolder, more muscular appearance. Under the hood, Tata has introduced a new 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbo petrol engine that produces 120 PS and 170 Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. This comes in addition to the existing 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine (88 hp) and the CNG version (73.5 hp). On the safety front, media reports confirm that the 2026 Tata Punch will now offer six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), TPMS and a 360-degree camera with blind vision monitor as standard.
