Players can register for the competition for free via www.liveitupchallenge.com on Saturday before 9:30 am.
All bets are mythical, with players having to make a choice in two of three randomly selected ‘Challenge Races’ each race day. A player’s bankroll is based on the payouts for his selections based on a $2 win, place and show bet.
Participants start the competition with one free lifeline. If a player’s selections fail to reach the board in both of a day’s “Challenge Races”, they lose a lifeline. Players can purchase up to eight additional lifelines for $5 each upon registration; up to eight additional for $10 each on January 31; and up to four more for $25 each on February 14.
Once a player loses all their lifelines, they are eliminated. Players can lose a maximum of one lifeline per day.
The player with the largest bankroll will be declared the grand prize winner and will receive two spots in the February 2027 High Rollers Contest at Tampa Bay Downs, valued at $2,000. Second, third and fourth places will each receive one High Rollers Contest seat at the Oldsmar oval in February 2027, valued at $1,000.
A bonus prize of $500 will go to the player who selects the most winners during the competition. The recipient of the “Most Winners” bonus may be eliminated and need not remain active at the end of the contest period.
If all players are eliminated before the end of the match, the four players with the highest bankrolls will win the prizes.
